In brief, the recent much awaited 28th National Junior Taekwondo Championship 2008 finally ends on 17th August 2008. After 2 days of high intense competition by taekwondo exponent which reveal the anguish of VICTORY and the agony of DEFEAT. but its all part of the sports….
A total of 44 team participated in the the 2 days chanpiosnhip 2008 16th-17th August at the Penang International Sports Arena (PISA), Penang. A close to 1,000 participants taKing part in three major categories :
1. 9-11 yrs
2. 12-13yrs and
3. 14-17 yrs.
14 state team and 34 associate clubs members nation wide participated in this annual event. An event that provide platform for the selection of future national juniors team for malaysia.
TEAM CEMERLANG taekwondo menage to grab the 2nd Overall Champion with 8 Gold 5 Silver and 7 Bronze. Koryo the Overall Champions bags 15 gold, 10 Silver and 5 Bronze.
Team CEMERLANG participted by 32 athletes can be consider fair quite well in the championship, with not much championship participated this year with the hooha about tkdo still unsettle we are unable to participated in most competition this year.
